Minneapolis Engagement Photos at Orchestra Hall and Boom Island Park | MW Photography
Alayna and Frank were set up through friends and coworkers who clearly knew what they were doing. Their first date was supposed to be a concert at Orchestra Hall but turned into a full day together. Both said it just felt easy, and neither wanted it to end.
That same spot ended up playing a big role later. Frank proposed right on the stage of the Minnesota Orchestra. After a performance, one of the staff members gave them a “fake” tour of the stage and said they could have a minute alone to take it all in. Frank was trying to be patient while a group of high schoolers slowly cleared out. As soon as the space was empty, he got down on one knee. The staff had been watching from the wings and started clapping once she said yes. They even brought the couple backstage to celebrate with champagne and a quick tour.
Alayna says she knew it was coming a couple weeks before because Frank can’t lie to save his life. His proposal aligned perfectly with his graduation weekend. They got to celebrate both big moments surrounded by family.
For their engagement session, we started outside Orchestra Hall to relive some of the magic and finished at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis. The weather worked out, and the session felt easy from start to finish. They were relaxed, joking with each other, and just enjoying the time. It was simple, which fit them perfectly.
