Celebrating with Puiyii & John at Irvine Park and the U of M for their engagement session!!
Puiyii and John met while earning their master’s degrees at the University of Minnesota. What started as a connection during their program turned into a love story that led them to say “I do” this past August at Irvine Park in Saint Paul.
For their engagement session, we revisited the places that hold meaning to them. We started at Irvine Park, the same spot where they exchanged vows, and brought their story full circle. The day had that true Minnesota fall feel—cool air with a touch of rain.
They never let the weather stop them. Puiyii mentioned that it rained on their wedding day too, so the drizzle almost felt right. Thankfully, it cleared enough for us to wander through campus at the University of Minnesota. The scenery there was beautiful, and it felt special photographing them where it all began.
Their connection shows in every image. It was one of those sessions that felt calm and easy from the start.
