Lauren & Ted Enjoy their Engagement Session in Downtown Excelsior!

Ted and Lauren are getting married this August, and their engagement session was the perfect mix of relaxed and meaningful. We met up at a lake that Lauren grew up around, which added an extra personal touch to the whole experience.

These two are easygoing and fun to be around. They’ve done such a great job planning their wedding, and it was nice to pause and just enjoy some time together outside. You could tell they were happy to just be in the moment.

The best part? We wrapped things up with Sebastian Joe’s ice cream from Tommy’s Tonka Trolley—because honestly, is there a better way to end a photo session?

I’m so looking forward to seeing them again soon for their wedding day!

Trinity Church Wedding Photography | Anna & Dan | Lakeville Wedding Photographer

Anna and Dan Marry at trinity Church in Lakeville!

Anna and Dan’s wedding at Trinity Church in Lakeville, Minnesota was the kind of day that left you feeling refreshed and inspired. Soft-spoken and deeply in love, these two were a perfect match — not just for each other, but for the Christ-centered marriage they are building.

From the very beginning, Anna and Dan made it clear that their greatest desire was to glorify God through their wedding. Every part of the day was infused with purpose — from their heartfelt vows and intentional music choices, to the worship songs they led before the night ended.

One of my favorite parts of the day? Watching Dan look at Anna with such tender, “in love” eyes — all day long. Their joy was quiet but powerful, and their connection undeniable.

They welcomed each guest with warmth during dinner, making every person feel like part of their story. And even though they’re both introverts, you never would have guessed it — they came alive surrounded by their people.

The evening wrapped up with worship and a bubble sendoff, a perfect ending to a wedding day full of grace, love, and joy.

If you're planning a Christ-centered wedding in Minnesota, Trinity Church in Lakeville is a beautiful venue for a celebration rooted in faith. It was an honor to document Anna and Dan's wedding, and I’m so excited for the journey ahead of them.

Lost Spur Wedding Photography | Becky and Jim | Eagan Wedding Photographer

Becky & Jim married at lost spur golf course in eagan!

Becky and Jim’s wedding day at Lost Spur Golf and Event Center was as heartfelt as it was beautiful. From their first look at the altar to the warm May sun shining down, every moment reflected what they value most: family, connection, and meaningful memories.

They chose Lost Spur because of their shared love of golf—something that has brought them joy over the years and now serves as the backdrop for the beginning of their next chapter. The venue, surrounded by rolling greens and sweeping views, made for the perfect blend of elegance and personality.

One of the most touching parts of the day was how intentionally Becky and Jim included their people. You could feel the love they have for their families woven into every part of their celebration. Whether it was during emotional toasts, inviting their grandparents to share in the cake cutting to celebrate 65 years anniversary, or the quiet in-between moments, it was clear: their wedding wasn’t just about the two of them—it was about everyone who had helped shape their story.

Jim saw Becky for the first time that day as she walked down the aisle. His reaction said it all—pure emotion, love, and awe. Adding another meaningful touch, Becky gifted Jim a wedding day watch with a personal inscription. It was a quiet, beautiful gesture that spoke volumes about their deep care and attention for each other.

We truly couldn’t have asked for a more stunning Minnesota day. The weather held up like a dream—warm, clear, and golden. It made portraits relaxed and joyful. Becky and Jim, thank you for letting me tell the story of your day!

Please enjoy a closer look at Becky & Jim’s wedding day & Enjoy!!
