Along with many of my fellow Americans, Marcus and I spent the day on the boat with the sun beating down and the smell of sunscreen in the air.
Every year we spend the our Independence day with the Waits clan on the Saint Croix River, which borders Minnesota and Wisconsin. After a long day lounging in the sun with good conversation we headed to Stillwater Marina for the annual firework show! The larger fireworks were so loud they could restart your heart and they set off several car alarms. Overall, It was definately a successful Independence day!

What a beautiful wedding!
Callie has been one of my best friend for years! Callie and Jordan invited all their close friends to stay at a house they rented out in Stockholm, WI. It was a fun evening hanging out with a close group of friends with the excitement of wedding the next day. The morning of the wedding we quickly inhaled food and a bit of strong coffee (I think there was about 7 scoops on recommendation of Tabetha) and started the day!This house had so much natural light and a wide space it was any photographer's dream for a getting ready space.
Their first look was the sweetest moment at the top of the tower at the Villa Bellezza! Both were glowing the first time they saw each other in their ful wedding attire! The whole wedding was in one word classy! From long gowns to tux with bow ties, everyone was dressed to the nines!
Callie made great care to add beautiful flower details all throughout the venue. Watching Jordan's dad marry them brought tears not only to his eyes but also to many others in the audience including my own. My second shooter, which is also my husband, looked at me and smiled shaking his head while i basically cried tears of joy the whole ceremony.
It was such an honor and a blessing to see to friends find one another, fall in love, and decided to spend together forever. I love you both and wish you love and joy for the rest of your married life!

First Baptist Church Wedding Photography | Jaclyn & David | Rosemount, MN
Jaclyn and David meet in West Coast Baptist College. David was the first to take notice when he happened to hold the door open for Jaclyn towards the beginning of the school year. As the school year passed Jaclyn ended up going solo at a luau party; a whole coconut was the party favor and another party goer dared her to eat it raw. Being a Minnesota girl, Jackie had no clue how to open this coconut, but along came David who took it and smashed it on the ground.
