Engagement sessions are always special, but when they’re part of a birthday celebration, they’re even better! I had the pleasure of meeting up with Caitlin and Armen for their engagement session at Como Conservatory in the Twin Cities. This location is one of their favorite places to walk together, making it the perfect setting for their photos.

The day of the shoot was chilly, with a biting wind that made outdoor photos a challenge. Thankfully, the conservatory provided a beautiful, warm escape, filled with lush greenery and soft natural light. It was the perfect backdrop to capture their love story.

Caitlin and Armen met online, and their connection quickly turned into something strong and lasting. Now, they’re looking forward to tying the knot later this year.

Jim & Becky Engagement Photography Session at Harriet Island Park!

Becky and Jim are tying the knot this coming May, and I couldn't be more excited to share a sneak peek of their engagement session! These two lovebirds met over a shared passion for golf, proving that sometimes love is just a fairway away.

Last night, we braved the crisp fall air at Harriot Lake Park in St. Paul, Minnesota, for their engagement shoot. The chill in the air didn’t stop Becky and Jim from bringing their A-game! Despite the cold, they kept high spirits.

Becky and Jim were absolute champs, embracing the frosty weather with smiles and promises of a hot drink to follow.

Alyssa & Luis’s Engagement Session at French Regional Park, Plymouth, MN

I spent a gorgeous fall day with Alyssa and Luis at Cliff E. French Regional Park (also known as French Regional Park) in Plymouth, MN. We were lucky to catch one of the last warm days of the season—perfect weather for a laid-back engagement session.

Alyssa and Luis are college sweethearts who met through mutual friends. They started talking and just never stopped. Now, five years later, they’re planning their wedding for next October, and it’s clear these two are still each other’s favorite person.

During the session, they told me about some of the things they love doing together—catching Twins games, playing video games (Alyssa kicks but in Mario Cart so watch out!), and exploring new foods. It was fun to see how comfortable they are with each other, and that natural connection definitely came through in the photos.
