Bestie Trip To See Taylor Swift’s Era Tour Concert In Dallas!

After hours of waiting, Katrina finally got what a 9 hour+ wait had all been worth it. WE GOT THE TAYLOR SWIFT TICKETS! So we started planning our trip to Dallas! What we were going to wear to the concert was high on our list. We sent multiple screenshots and agreed on TS Lovers Era for our inspiration!

But Taylor Swift concert wasn’t the only thing we wanted to do in the area. We spent two days checking out places for donuts we had found on Instagram and a coffee shop highly rated on Google Maps. Among one of the best Chai Tea Lattes I have had in my life (Thanks Cuppa Coffee!), we got to enjoy some of the amazing art at the Dallas Art Museum and Meadows Museum on the campus of Southern Methodist University.

After exploration throughout Dallas, we got ready in our hotel! We both LOVE and share special memories of Taylor Swift’s Lover Album, having shared the first listen experience. SO we got decked out in pink tulle and sequence and all the Taylor Swift Easter Eggs we could make on the way and finally headed to the concert!!

I wanted to experience the concert outside of my phone or camera so I intentionally limited my phone usage. The whole concert my girl and I were dancing and singing at the top of our lungs. What was cool is that we were not the only ones! The whole stadium knew all the words to all the songs and it felt like such a community singing and making the whole place shimmer along with Taylor on stage. I am so thankful I got to do this experience with my best friend. It will always be one memory that follows me around.

Amanda & Luke in Minneapolis!

Love has a way of finding us when we least expect it, and sometimes, life takes us on separate paths only to bring us back together stronger than ever before. Amanda and Luke met in college. They hung out, but eventually went separate ways just because they needed to go do their own paths.
When their paths crossed again, they picked up where they left off and they knew that this was the real deal!

Now these two love birds are starting a new adventure with a new city, new jobs, new places, all while planning their wedding in Minnesota! Amanda and Luke had a wedding in MN and made time to get our engagement session in while they were here.

We shot their engagement session at Minneapolis’s Lyndale Rose Garden for only a couple of minutes before we were caught in a thunderstorm. It was fast and furious as we ran to our cars, it didn’t stay too long before it let up enough to keep shooting.

Luke and Amanda enjoy traveling and seeing different shows that are coming through their area. I am so excited for their wedding this fall!

Emily and Brandon Celebrating Their Engagement at Rice Park in Saint Paul!

Love has a funny way of finding us in unexpected places, and for Emily and Brandon, it all started on Bumble. From their first virtual conversation, they realized they had something special. With Emily's team player mentality and Brandon's hardworking spirit, they quickly discovered a deep connection that would eventually lead them down the path to their marriage and an exciting future together.

The Proposal:

Brandon, always thoughtful and considerate, wanted the proposal to be memorable and perfect for Emily. Together, they had chosen the ring, so while it wasn't a complete surprise, the moment was still special. Before the proposal, they enjoyed a lovely dinner together. At Rice Park, one of their favorite spots in the cities, Brandon proposed to Emily. He had a couple of buddies there with cameras to capture the moment. Brandon LOVES photos, so it was really important to him to capture such a big moment. As Brandon slid the ring onto Emily's finger, Emily remembers she was worried about her food container lid slipping. Laughter filled the air as they realized that even in the most precious moments, life can surprise us in unexpected ways.

The Engagement Session:

To capture the essence of their love story, Emily and Brandon decided to have their engagement photos taken at Rice Park in Saint Paul, same park they got engaged! The park provided a picturesque backdrop for their love to shine.

On the day of the photoshoot, the Minnesota spring weather blessed them with warmth. The evening was filled with golden sunlight and a gentle breeze, setting the perfect ambiance for their pictures. Their smiles radiated pure happiness as they strolled hand in hand through the park, capturing moments that perfectly encapsulated their love and excitement for the future. And let me be a little artsy too!

Despite encountering a small hiccup with a lime scooter, Emily and Brandon embraced the unexpected and made the most of it. Their ability to adapt and find joy in any situation highlighted the strength of their connection and their shared sense of adventure.

With their engagement session serving as a beautiful prelude to their upcoming wedding, Emily and Brandon can't contain their excitement. The fall wedding promises to be a celebration of love, surrounded by family and friends who have supported them throughout their journey. And they both are greatly looking forward to honeymooning in Japan!

As they continue to plan their future together, Emily and Brandon eagerly anticipate the day they will say "I do" and embark on their next grand adventure as a married couple.
