Spring Lake Park Wedding Photography | Grace & Ethan | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Ethan and Grace were just excited and it was written all over their faces. The rain didn't reign on their parade! Face cheeks hurting from all the smiling. Ethan told Grace he would be her hug dispenser and that any point in the day just come on over. My favorite part about watching this couple was how they constantly made each other laugh. We started our day at Historic Hastings for the first look. On Grace's favorite stairs Ethan laid his eyes on his bride for the first time and was completely lost for words. (Fun Fact: Grace found her dress in the Ukraine when she was visiting there. She just couldn't leave without it!) We partied there with the wedding party for a bit before making our way to Spring Lake Park for the Ceremony. Before the ceremony they surrounded themselves with their moms and dads and had them pray over them  for their marriage . With umbrellas out and eyes at the beginning of the aisle, Ethan and Grace became Mr and Mrs Callies!!!! Aaahhh During the reception there were yard games, rain, good food and fellowship. Towards the end of the speeches, as Grace said thank you she said her heart could not be more full. She then rushed up to me and said there was a surprise for Ethan! Everyone circled around the couple for a Polish Tradition and sang "Let Me Call You Sweetheart". The second surprise was even better; as the groomsman announced what was happening next he mentioned Grace texted him to surprise Ethan with the Hokey Pokey then he received another text this time from ETHAN several minutes later  also telling the groomsman he wanted to surprise GRACE with the Hokey Pokey. Clearly soul mates. The sequence of Grace's faces are literally the best and probably some of my favorite from the day!

They ran through a line of loved ones and waving ribbons before driving off him Ethan's dads corvette.

South Carolina Wedding Photography | Christian & Emily | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

This past weekend my BROTHER GOT MARRIED!!!!!! It was been such a packed week as my whole family packed up and flew to South Carolina to celebrate his wedding. We decided to do a sunrise first look at Pretty Place and I seriously think my heart stopped editing these photos! (Marcus resuscitated me a couple of times so no worries there ;) ) Definitely make it to the end to see these photos YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS THEM.

Christian and Emily's wedding day welcomed them with a sunny south carolina day! Both laid back and ready to be married the day reflected their happy go lucky attitudes. It was important to them both that the wedding was close to home so what better place than a Emily's childhood home!  The simple backyard wedding fit their hearts desire of just relaxing with family and friends!  Being so close we made our way to furman university for some more room for Wedding party photos and family formals!! Family formals were interesting as my dad just filled his cell phone with ALL the pictures!  We were just joking around with friends in between photos, which is always the best when your surrounded by people that love you.

The day could not have been more beautiful as a whole. Please enjoy their wedding photos!

PS -  A local barn cat just had kittens two weeks ago at their house! The kitten in the photo details was Emily's favorite that she cuddled with to destress from all the last minute wedding planning!

Hyland Hills Ski Area Wedding Photography | Mariah and Josh | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

I think after the blizzard this weekend we need a little warmer weather in our lives here in MN! This is a wedding I shot with Gina Zeilder Photographer last fall during warmer times!

Mariah and Josh were SOOO excited to get married at the Hyland Hills Ski Resort;  Josh was most excited to see his B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L bride and not have any more nights apart from this night on! It was both high priority for them to have their wedding day focused on God's grace and glory and they did so with smiles a mile wide the entire day!
One of my favorite wedding traditions, they decided to wash each other's feet after the first look. It is a true sign of choosing to serve the one you love like Christ humbled himself and washed his disciples feet.

Please enjoy their wedding day and try to imagine that warmer Minnesota days are on their way!
