Paige & Jordan Marry at Cleary Lake Regional Park!

Webp.net-gifmaker (12).gif

Paige and Jordan had plans to get married and covid restrictions made those plans go right out the window!
They didn’t let all the covid crap get them down though. Even though their plans evolved, they still kept true to what they wanted. Paige & Jordan held their wedding ceremony at Cleary Lake Park with a very intimate group of family members and friends. The officiant was one of their closest friends Nicole, who had everybody smiling and laughing along! They got married on their 9th anniversary of being together! That is pretty awesome and special. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a celebratory meal at Eagan’s Doolittle’s before the wedding party and I did our portraits at a favorite nearby park. These sunset portraits had me swooning the entire time and this crew was just awesome to party with! (not too many bugs either!)

The next day at Cleary Lake Regional Park Pavilion more friends and family were invited to come celebrate with a relaxed game day and food in the Minnesota Sun! Everyone came relaxed and ready to enjoy the day with some Cafe Latte cakes! (They got a large variety which were absolutely delicious!)

Paige, Jordan, and I finished out their wedding adventure weekend with portraits with Paige’s horse Vinny! Although I don’t think he was the biggest fan, he did like being bribed with peppermints!

Please enjoy this look at Jordan and Paige’s Wedding Weekend Adventure! I really loved how they embraced it and really made this whole experience their own!! Enjoy!

BECCA & SCOTT

It started with a simple school girl crushing on an upper class-man. Becca made the first move and from there is was movie nights and crazy dance moves. One of the hardest times of long distance they finally have behind them as they tied the knot this past weekend at Valley Christian Church!

Becca and Scott got ready at the church; the girls were in the main building getting dolled up while the guys played games in the church's house across the parking lot.

Their first look was at Casperson Park on the doc. (This was Scott's favorite part of the day! ) We shot fast and furious just as it started to sprinkle and then the heavens opened and it down poured on us! I just think the sky couldn't hold in the tears of witnessing such a beautiful moment!
Even though we were blessed with rain, I am SO grateful it did note put a damper on Becca and Scott's spirits. It made the day so much brighter. The rain of the day made us move some photo stuff around to accommodate and keep everyone almost all dry for their photos. The bridesmaids were in the same shade of pink with all different style of floor length dresses, while the guys kept it simple with boutonnieres and white shirts.

A huge highlight of the day was the ceremony. Taking place at their church, the seats filled with people eager to witness the marriage between these two. They did a unity cross and the whole time they were just smiling at each other like they were the only two in the room. Right before the vows, their officiant Shawn revealed a little surprise. The Bride Becca had prepared a song just for her groom. A very stunned Scott say down at a chair at the piano while Becca played and sang " From the Ground Up" By Dan + Shay accompanied by her friend Josh. Scott was just basking the the beautiful voice of his now wife. He was not the only one crying in the room that's for sure. (Yes, I was balling too) It was a warm moment just witnessing the love between these two. She got a long hug once the song was completed. I think Scott loved his surprise! Mission Accomplished! Vows were then exchanged and they kissed for the first time has husband and wife!

They hosted the reception at First Baptist Church in Rosemount Minnesota where they first meet. We stole them away a little bit into the reception to take some more photos of the wedding party outside and just a couple more of them. They shared a private first dance and it was beautiful.

The night wrapped up with a sparkler exit!

It was one wedding I will never forget and I am SO happy for Becca and Scott. Please enjoy their wedding day photos!

Bryant Avenue Baptist Church Wedding Photography | Megan & Stefan | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Megan and Stefan met officially at college. Megan was really shy at first Stefan didn't think she was interested, it took a little bit of convincing but eventually Megan convinced him that she was completely interested. Unofficially they met when Stefan met Megan'sfather and he had Stefan waved at his family sitting in thecar. Little did he know he just waved at his future wife.

On the wedding day Megan and Stefan had me convinced within minutes that they could not be more excited to marry the other. Megan's details had me laughing with delight; her shoes were literally unicorns. If you know this bride at all you know how fitting they were and by the end of the night she convinced me that she was my unicorn bride! Stefan loved the shoes and his reaction had everyone giggling.

The music that drew people in was the soundtrack to Pride and Prejudice 2005, which was so beautifully played and set the mood. Megan walked downthe aisle to Studio Ghibli; the moment could not have been more beautiful.
As the reception came so did the rain, but it made sure to keep these two in mind because it didn't interrupt anything on the wedding day.  Having both worked at Caribou Coffee (Stefan very short time), their love of coffee was evident having their own coffee station with coffee bean favors for their guests to take home.

It was such a joy to take part in a small part of my MW Bride and Groom's lives. Congrats to such a sweet couple.
