Hyland Hills Ski Area Wedding Photography | Mariah and Josh | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

I think after the blizzard this weekend we need a little warmer weather in our lives here in MN! This is a wedding I shot with Gina Zeilder Photographer last fall during warmer times!

Mariah and Josh were SOOO excited to get married at the Hyland Hills Ski Resort;  Josh was most excited to see his B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L bride and not have any more nights apart from this night on! It was both high priority for them to have their wedding day focused on God's grace and glory and they did so with smiles a mile wide the entire day!
One of my favorite wedding traditions, they decided to wash each other's feet after the first look. It is a true sign of choosing to serve the one you love like Christ humbled himself and washed his disciples feet.

Please enjoy their wedding day and try to imagine that warmer Minnesota days are on their way!

Wedding Reception Centerpiece Inspirations for the Bride | Bride Inspirations

I LOVE reception details! And I know I can't be the only one.  So for those who are looking for a little reception centerpiece inspiration for their own wedding please enjoy the combination of centerpieces I have shot with some amazing brides. Some are simply sweet and others are more detailed galore but they all fit the bride's style!

Red Barn Farm Wedding Photography | Thea & Devon | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

The rain did not get Thea and Devon's moods down. Although the rain was there to stay up until sunset they both said their I do's  through the floating balloons that lined their ceremony and the jokes that Devon's best friend (and Officiant) shared through the entire ceremony that had everyone laughing. The Sweetest thing that I witnessed on their wedding day was that through the ceremony and the reception Thea signed the words for her dad. It was a beautiful gift that a daughter could give to her father and include him on such a big moment of the day. The reception had a rustic feel with Red Barn Farm's famous fire stone pizza's. Thea wore a blue modern crown with a textured dress, it may have been over the top for anyone else, but it really didn't feel that way on Thea. It was really a perfect fit that showed of such a beautiful bride. I shot this beautiful rainy barn wedding with Dawn Siva Photography.
